Judith Elaine Hodge

Judith Elaine Witt Hodge, age 71, passed away on November 27th, after a year long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family in her final days.

Judy was raised in Loudon, TN and lived there until her graduation from the University of Tennessee. She earned her master’s degree while working for Knox County Schools. Judy worked in education for more than 40 years, retiring from the RTI Department.

She enjoyed reading, volunteering with the Other Than Ourselves Group, spending time with friends and going on beach trips. Her favorite things were spending time with family and watching her children and especially grandchildren participate in their many different activities.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Raydean Witt. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Eddie Hodge; children, Laura Hamilton (Kane), Wade Hodge (Sara), and Rachel Hodge Reynolds (Craig); brother Mike Witt (Paulette); and grandchildren, Haley, Will, and Ben Hamilton, Cameron Reynolds and Brady and Hannah Hodge. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet at 12:45pm Friday, December 5, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
