JT Everhart

JT Everhart, age 97 of Powell, passed away June 22, 2024. He was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church and a WWII Veterans-European Theater. JT worked many years at Frito-Lay. Preceded in death by parents Francis and Artie Everhart and niece Robin. He leaves behind wife Ernestine (Ernie), son Jody (Karen), grandsons Matthew and Justin (Amanda), great-granddaughters Kimberly, and Taylor, great-grandson Trey, brother R.H. Everhart, and nephew Greg Everhart. Family and friends will meet at 12:15pm Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a 12:30pm committal service with military honors provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
