Joyce Brown Williams

Joyce Brown Williams, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from a long battle with cancer. She was a member of Wolf Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Brown, Sr., mother, Blanche Spickard Brown, sister, Linda Crowe, and brother, Tommy Brown. She is survived by her son, Darin Williams, daughters: Kim (JR.) Massengill and Pamela (Gary) Hurst; and three bonus children. Brothers: Joseph Brown, Jr., Donald (Mary), Harold (Phyllis) and Michael (Glenda); sisters, Wilma Pierce and Karen Cochran, 6 grandchildren, 2 bonus grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Charlie Tindell. Family and friends will meet Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:45 am at Wolf Valley Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service.
