Joyce V. Smith

Joyce V. Smith, age 78, gained her angel wings and passed from this life to her eternal home, Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Graduate of Halls High School. She attended nursing school and became a nurse in 1989. She was an all-sports athlete and avid UT fan. She enjoyed spending time dancing, fishing, camping, and being with her family. She was preceded in death by beloved parents, Joseph and Irene Wolfenbarger; son, Gary Phillips; and twin sister Judy Carr. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Randy Smith; son, Michael (Sandra) Phillips; grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips and Joe Phillips; great-grandchildren, Jacob Joiner and Braylon Hatfield; brother, Sonny Wolfenbarger; nieces, Mitzi (Bryan) Watt and Kayla Lovelace; nephews, David (Ellen) Carr and Joe Wolfenbarger; great nieces, Shalinka (C.J.) Edinger and Britney (Joe) Cobb; great nephews, Russell (Kristen) Carr and Nicolas (Shayla) Webster; and many other great nieces and nephews, and loved ones.
