Joyce Kay Frye

Joyce Kay Frye, age 68 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 29, 2022. Joyce loved spending her time fishing with her husband. She was preceded in death by parents, Roy and Mattie Hurst; brothers, Junior Hurst, Melvin Hurst and Calvin Hurst; sisters, Shirley Veals, Diane, Linda Hurst, and Geraldine Hurst. She is survived by loving husband of 38 years, Thomas Frye; son, Daniel (Kayla) Hurst; sisters, Pam Hurst, Pat Winkle, and Bobbie Jo Long; brother, Billy Jo Hurst; grandchildren, Kinley, Jordan and Alayna; special friend, Ruby Jones; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, September 6, 2022 with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm officiated by, Reverend Roy Kelley. Family and friends will meet 1:00pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Mynatt Funeral Home for procession to New Gray Cemetery for a 2:00pm graveside service.
