Joyce Ann Heist

Joyce Ann Heist age 84 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home.  Joyce enhanced many lives through dance (line dancing and clogging) for 30 plus years (Tennessee Style Cloggers) at Christenberry Community Center and line dancing at Cotton Eyed Joe's.  Joyce performed her dancing at places that included Dollywood, TVA & I Fair and other various places.  Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Kay Heist; parents, Isaac Alfred Reagan and Ella Mae Reagan; sister, Clara Davis.  Survivors; husband of 67 years, John David Heist; children, David Allen (Tracy) Heist, Amy (Sonnet Clark) Heist; several nieces and nephews.  Services were private.  The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff of Ben Atchley State Veterans Home and Smoky Mountain Hospice.  Memorials may be made to Young Williams Animal Center 3201 Division Street Knoxville, TN  37919.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
