Joyce Audrey Dyer

Joyce Audrey Dyer, age 85 of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents; William C and Iola Trecia Dyer, sisters; Barbara Ann Rouse (Rev. Jesse Rouse), Carol Dyer Northern and nephew Billy Northern. She is survived by her nieces; Trecia Todd, Donna Repper, Lisa McKenzie, Beth Swany along with many nieces and nephews. Joyce and her sister Carol were owners of Dyers florist until it closed. She worked for the University of Tennessee in special events parking for 35 years. She loved people and would often take her friends to their Dr. appointments or shopping, or occasionally to Harrah’s. Special thanks to Steve Clapp and to the hospice floor at Fort Sanders Hospital. The family will receive friends on October 13, 2023 from 5:00-7:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City with a service to follow, Pastor Stephen Gardner officiating. A graveside service is to be held October 14, 2023 at 11:00AM Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City at 9:30AM to follow in procession to Dyer Cemetery, Luttrell TN.
