Joy Wright Dukes

Joy Wright (Meredith) Dukes, age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016. She was a Christian mother, devoted to God and family. Her testimony was musical – at Straw Plains UMC she was the organist, pianist, and Choir director. She was a blessing to her family and friends and she will be deeply missed. Joy is preceded in death by son Lance Meredith; parents, Harve and Delilah Wright; and sister-in-law, Jo Wright. She is survived by children, Spencer Meredith (Kristi), Regina Clontz (Chad), Patrice Meredith, Erin Weaver (Justin); eight grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Jean) and Bill Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 6 pm. Family and friends will meet 10:45am Monday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for 11:00am interment service.
