Joshua O'Connor Renfroe

Joshua O’Connor Renfroe age 20, of Knoxville, Tennessee, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2026, following medical complications.

Joshua was a member of New Life Methodist Church and a graduate of Gibbs High School. He had a deep appreciation for live music and was known for his fiercely loyal nature and the genuine love he showed to those around him. Joshua treasured the time he spent with his friends and could often be found fishing and making memories with the people he cared about most. His personality brought a sense of humor and familiarity to those fortunate enough to know him, and he will be remembered for the lasting impact he had on the lives of those closest to him.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Anderson; and his grandmother, Barbara Renfroe.

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Williams and Randy Williams; his father, Jack Renfroe; his sister, Abeni Williams and Dauson Riner; his grandfather, Roger Renfroe; his grandmothers, Carole Anderson and PK Renfroe; and his cherished friends, Jay, Nick, and Robert. He leaves behind a community of family and friends who loved him deeply and whose lives will forever be changed by his absence.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Teresa McClure. An online obituary may be viewed, and condolences made at www.mynattfh.com.
