Joshua Michael Postl

On Friday, July 15th, 2022, Joshua Michael Postl, loving Son, passed away at the young age of 19. Josh was born on April 28th, 2003, in Knoxville, TN to Dave and Shannon Postl. Josh was a loving son, overprotective brother, and best friend to all who knew him. He loved, laughed, played, and fought hard. Josh loved to be outdoors doing just about anything. Shooting, fishing, and playing basketball were his favorite things to do. No matter what time of the year it was, you would find him wearing a hoodie! Josh still had so much to offer as his life had just begun. Josh was very loved and will be deeply missed by all his friends and loved ones. His legacy will live on through our memories and in our hearts. Josh was preceded in death by his brother, Brandon Lee Postl, his uncle Danny Postl, his grandfathers Robin Postl and Rick Jakob Sr. Josh is survived by his father and stepmother, Dave Postl and Vanessa Halm, mother Shannon Postl (Luke Absher), stepbrothers Matthew and Tyler, stepsisters Haley and Cassie, great grandfather Richard Gardner, grandparents Peggy Jakob, Jesse and Cathy Green, Uncles Rick Jakob Jr. (Jessica), Richard Green (Jason), Matthew Green, Aunt Shelley Porter (Derrick), Danielle Jakob and Many cousins. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, 4131 E. Emory Rd. Knoxville, TN 37938, 865-922-9195. Family and friends will then gather following the visitation.
