Joe Worsham of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 after enduring declining health over the last couple of months.
Joe was born to Cullen and Dora Worsham on August 22, 1949 in Knoxville, TN. He was a graduate of Fulton HS and received a BS in Forestry from the University of TN. Although he never worked in the forestry field, he was an avid outdoorsman that was gifted at repairing almost anything. Joe and his wife Amy were married in 1984 and raised three children together. Joe loved his children more than life itself, he often took them fishing, coached their sports teams, and was always up for any adventure that involved his family. He was a long-time member of Arlington Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years.
Joe is preceded in death by his loving parents, Cullen and Dora Worsham, beloved sister Georgia Valentour, and his best bud, his son, Wesley Worsham.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Beazley Worsham, his caring daughters, Kelsey (Andrew) Kinder, Jodi (Jerod) Brantley, precious granddaughters, Avery and Audrey Brantley, and his two devoted sisters Sandy (Terrell) Clift, Becky (Bob) Fretwell, Brother- in-law Jim Valentour, and many loved nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8th, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 4:00pm, Rev. Johnny Lovelace officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com
