Joseph Paul Walters

Joseph Paul Walters, age 48, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on September 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Joseph enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He cherished the time spent making memories with the people he loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Walters; his father, Jack Walters; and his grandparents.

Joseph is survived by his fiancée, Amanda Edwards; his daughter, Taylor Sisson (Jacob); their children, Jackson and Ava; Alyssa Weaver (Jake) and their son, Zander; his brothers, Robert Parker, Steven Walters, and Jason Walters; his best friend and co-conspirator, Edward “Tooter” Williams and his wife, Shannon; and special friend, Lisa Bright-Walters; step children, Sarah Bright, Helen Bright, and Joshua Shell. He is also survived by many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Family will receive of friends from 6:00PM - 8:00PM and will follow with a 8:00PM service on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.

Joseph will be remembered for the memories he made with his family and friends and the lasting impact he had on those who knew and loved him.
