Joseph L. Kennedy

Joseph L. Kennedy Jr., age 48 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord August 30, 2018. He was a member of Ramsey Church of God. He drove a truck for Estes Express Freight Lines. Joseph was a modern-day Patrick Swayze, who loved to dance, play pool, hunt, and occasionally, enjoyed drawing. He was a loving husband, father, and son, and an all-around honorable man. He was a strong example of what a man should be. His perseverance and unconditional love for others was a testament to how he lived. Survived by wife of 26 years, Denise Kennedy; children, Natalie, Zack, and Mackenzie Kennedy; parents Joe and Wanda Kennedy; brother Jerry Kennedy (Leslie); sisters, Janice Starnes, Joann Davis (Danny), Judy Moore, and Jeanette Bradley (Chris); several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Ernie Sands and Rev. Rick Higgins officiating.
