Joseph "Joe" Wayne Wools

Joseph “Joe” Wayne Wools age 22, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Joe had a passion for fast cars, shoes and guns. He loved working outdoors and his creativity shown through his landscaping. Joe was an avid Alabama fan!

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Deloris Smith; grandfather, Terry Smith; father, David Hicks; uncle, Earnest Lynn Hance, Jr.; and cousin, Earnest Lynn Hance, III.

Joe is survived by his mother, Steveie Bingham; stepfather, Jason Bingham; sister, Lakesha Wools and brother-in-law, Dylan Cupp, Sr.; brothers, Preston (Katie) Miller, Chevy Miller, Nick Westberry and Connor Westberry; nieces, Chloe Wools and Shawna Cupp; nephew, Dylan Cupp, Jr.; along with several other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow officiated by Pastor Edward Miller, Jr. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel and travel in procession to Bethel-Lynch Cemetery for a graveside service. Pallbearers are Nick Westberry, Connor Westberry, Dylan Cupp Sr., Charlie Whidden, Brian Miller Jr., William Pate, and Isaiah Bruner. Honorary pallbearer Dylan Cupp Jr.
