Joseph C. "Jody" Everhart

Joseph C. “Jody” Everhart, age 71 of Powell, went home on Thursday, December 12, 2024. He worked for many years as the “cookie man” for Nabisco, where he delivered cookies and crackers. Jody was an active member of First Baptist Church Powell, where he served as a custodian for several years after retiring from Nabisco. He enjoyed any activity that included being with people including: boating, fishing, bowling, and most of all attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Preceded in death by parents J.T. and Ernestine Everhart. Survived by wife of 49 years Karen Everhart, sons Matthew and Justin (Amanda) Everhart, grandchildren Kimberly, Taylor, and Trey Everhart. Family and friends will gather at 6:00pm Monday, December 16, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel for the funeral service.
