Johnny Satterfield

Johnny Mack Satterfield, age 71, of Knoxville gained his wings on Saturday, March 23, 2024. He was in the Marine Corps; First Battalion 9^th Marines “The Walking Dead” for three years during the Vietnam War.  He was a loyal and respected member of the Moose Lodge #1560.  He retired after 38 years of service with UPS. Preceded in death by; Granny,  Maggie May Satterfield, parents, John and Loretta Satterfield, brothers, Gary and Marty Satterfield, Best friend, Jeep York.

Survived by his wife and his whole world of 51 years, Donna Satterfield, son, Wes Satterfield and his daughter Beanie Baby, Gina Satterfield – Drew, and Spouse Tim (Drewby) Drew, grandchildren, his dark-eyed beauty, Soleil Drew, his pride and joy and his namesake, Johnny Drew, as well as two other grandchildren whose names the family declines to mention.  In addition, a host of loving family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Friends and Family will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service. Officiated by Wiley Brown.
