Johnny Clayton Murray

Johnny Clayton Murray, died at age 66, at LeConte Medical Center on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 7:00pm. Johnny had a full life. He attended Carter High School, where he played football and made many life-long friends. At the young age of 18, Johnny began working for his family with Larry Marshall and Son for about 10 years. He then moved to be a Superintendent with Blount Excavating Company for about 12 years. He then went to Sea Ray Boats and became a woodworker making cabinets for around 5 years. Johnny will be sorely missed by all he was funny, kind hearted and a great fisherman. He was talented just about all things he tried. Johnny is preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Marshall, sisters Linda Carpenter, Kelly Bowers, daughter Amber Maria Murray. Survived by father Larry A. Marshall and wife Tonya Palmer, brother Larry A. Marshall II, granddaughter Aaliyha Jewel Morgan, grandson Brayden Troy Murray. All services will remain private.
