Johnnie Francis Griffin

Johnnie Francis Griffin, age 48, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on March 11th, 2026.  Johnnie was known for her contagious laugh, strong spirit, and generous heart. A devoted wife, mother, and woman of faith, she faced life’s challenges with faith and determination. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Biggs, and her siblings, Toni and Ernest III (Sonny). She shared more than 30 years with her husband and best friend, Chuck Griffin. Her greatest joy in life was being a Mother to her boys.  She is survived by her husband, Chuck Griffin; her sons, Dewayne Griffin and wife Alexis and Joe Griffin and wife Summer; her mother, Katherine Biggs; and her sisters, Jo Ann, Alice, and Katie. As well as many other family members. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt  Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with the funeral service to follow 7:00 pm, Rev. Joe Harris and Rev. Jacob Brooks officiating.  Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at New Gray Cemetery 2724 Western Avenue Knoxville, TN 37921 for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
