John W. "J.W." Baker

John W. “J.W.” Baker, age 65, of Blaine, TN, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Formerly employed at Wheeler and Mull Furniture Company. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceded in death by mother, Johnny Mae Baker; father, John Oscar Baker; stepmother, Virginia Baker; sister, Sandy Morris; and brother; Christopher Baker.

Survived by wife of 39 years, Nancy Baker; daughter, Diane (Jason) Mitchell; son, John Ross Baker; grandchildren, Emily (Gabe) Hill, Bradley Baker (Jenna), Sarah Mitchell; brothers, Terry, Tim (Velda), Rick (Lisa), and Frankie Baker; sister, Michelle Rutherford; special friends, Austin Caldwell, Marie Davis, Larry Adams; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7pm on Friday, September 19, at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
