John Wesley Smith

John Wesley Smith, age 85 of Seymour passed away September 23, 2025. He served in the U.S. Airforce Reserve for 6 years as a sergeant. He enjoyed watching baseball and playing pool. Preceded in death by father, Thomas Roden Smith, mother, Winnie Agion Smith; brothers, William Doen Smith, James Smith; sisters, Tommie Lou Smith Raines, Peggy Smith Conner Ramsey and Connor Ramsey. Survived by wife, Hazel Lee Smith; daughter, Amber Dawn Webb Gard; and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with the service to follow at 6:00 pm.
