John Wesley Smith

John Wesley Smith, age 85 of Seymour passed away September 23, 2025. He served in the U.S. Airforce Reserve for 6 years as a sergeant. He enjoyed watching baseball and playing pool. Preceded in death by father Thomas Roden Smith, mother Winnie Agion Smith, brothers William Doen Smith, James Smith, sisters Tommie Lou Smith Raines, Peggy Smith Conner Ramsey and Connor Ramsey. Survived by wife Hazel Lee Smith, daughter Amber Dawn Webb Gard, and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-6:00pm Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with service to follow at 6:00pm.
