John Carr

Johnny Carr, age 95 of Knoxville passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. He was a Knoxville, Tennessee native and the son of the late John and Mary Carr, wife Louise Carr, daughter Christine Petree, grandson Eric Petree, loving daughter-in-law Willie Carr, brothers and sisters: Claude, Nola, Myrtle, Helen, Lela, Gean, Clarence, Jay and Carmel. Survivors include his children: Steve Carr, Sandra (Roy) Murphy and Jeff Carr; grandchildren: John Petree, Stevie Carr, Melissa Cox, Jeffery Carr and Andrew Carr; Seven great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and his loving pet and companion (best buddy) Molly. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, May 27, 2021 for a 12:30 PM for a Committal Service in the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
