Joe "JD" David Shelton, Jr.

Joe Shelton, Jr. “JD”, age 49, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. He was a member of the 86’ers. He loved dirt track racing and driving his RC cars. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Shelton; sister, Venus Shelton; daughter, Samantha Dent. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Misty Shelton; daughter, Gracie and son Jacob; father, Joe David Shelton, Sr.; sisters, Windy Homol and Jennifer Cook, mother-in-law, Teresa Fleming; brother-in-law, Ryan Fleming (Talyn); several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends and family.
