Jody Lea Inman

Jody Lea Inman, age 87, of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord whom she loved on Monday, April 27, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family in her last days. She was a loving and devoted Momma and Nanny. She was of the Christian faith and a member of the Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Inman Sr.; daughter, Jamie Dinkens; son, Keith Inman; mother, Friela Elliott; father, Albert Hickson; stepdad, Harvey Elliott Sr.; siblings, Shirley Foust, Dave Hickson, Jewel Harmon, Dean Elliott, Carter Elliott, Cody Evans and Steve Elliott.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Bunch (Ted), James Inman Jr., Pam Kirk (Barry) and Kelly Inman; grandchildren, Adam Vittatoe (Laren), Sarah Davis (Andrew), Josh Bunch (Natalie), Joseph Dinkens (Masako), Bethany McGarry, Cory Inman, Jordan Tucker (Dwayne), Victoria Inman, Kolby Kirk (Triniti); great grandchildren, Tegan Bunch, Hadley Bunch, Kastyn Bunch, Benjamin Davis, Noah Davis, Kaydon Dailey, Kamden McGarry, Rhylin McGarry, Harper Kirk, Charlee Inman, Brayden Tucker and Ariyah Tucker; siblings, Helen Thomas Millie Viles, Wayne Elliott, and Kathy Green.

Special thanks to Covenant Health Hospice for their love and care of our precious mother in her final days.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with a Funeral Service to follow with Troy Harmon officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:45am on Friday, May 1, 2026, for an 11:00am Interment.
