Jimmy Ray Gaddis

Jimmy Ray Gaddis age 77, of Powell, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at his home. He was born January 29, 1947, and served as Past master of Powell Masonic Lodge in 1994. Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Gaddis Clark, parents, Crockett and Etta Lou Gaddis, and sister, Patsy Gaddis. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Linda Gaddis, daughter, Lisa Gaddis Arbuckle and husband, Jeff, son-in-law, James Clark, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Wendy Gaddis, step sons: Bryan Payne and Brandon Payne and his wife Susan; five grandchildren: Jordan Nicely, Abby Payne, Molly Payne, Amanda Payne and Emily Payne; one great grandchild, Novaleigh Walker, niece, Robin Strickland and her husband, Greg, nephews, Butch Gaddis and Randy Gaddis, and best of friends, Wayne Williams of Knoxville, TN. And Jack Burnette of Talbott, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, immediately followed by a 7:00 pm funeral service officiated by Pastor Randy Gault. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10:45 am at Bells Campground Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service.
