Jimmie Haskell Farmer, age 81, of Powell, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. He was a member and deacon of The Church at Sterchi Hills and the Volunteer Street Rod Association. Jimmie enjoyed building his own cars and attending car shows with them.
He is preceded in death by parents, Ransom and Julia Farmer; sisters, Linda Douglas and Paulette Henderson.
Survived by wife, Jackie Farmer; children, Jamie Stansberry (Todd) and Leah Farmer (Tony Phillips); grandchildren, Ashley Miracle (Kris), Coty McMillan (Alicia) and Haley Stansberry; great grandchildren, Garrett Miracle, Cason Miracle, Jace McMillan, Asher McMillan and Kellan McMillan; siblings, Robert Farmer (Faye), Don Farmer (Patsy) and Darlene Lively (Mike); special friends, Ralph and Nettie Eggleston; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to Gentiva Hospice Group for their care during this time.
Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a service to follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Joel Dew officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Beech Springs Cemetery in Kodak for an 11:00am graveside service.
