Jesse Bruce Mitchell

August 8, 1948 - March 1, 2026

On a bright sunny morning while surrounded by loved ones, Bruce was greeted by his Savior and reunited with his loved ones previously called home.

   Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Florence Mitchell. He is survived by his son Chad (Katy) and grandchildren, Jade and Jesse. His sister Carol (Glen) Lakin. Numerous nieces and nephews. His long-time girlfriend, Tonia Brock. His ex-wife, Yvonne and a multitude of extended family and friends.

   Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corp.

   His love and commitment will be missed by all who knew him. His humor and good nature could lighten up any situation. His generosity and kindness helped so many.

  Family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Reverand Charlie Tindell.  Family and friends will meet at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:45 AM Saturday, March 7, 2026, for an 11:00 AM graveside service

   The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ben Atchley Veterans home and his hospice nurse Julianna for their wonderful and compassionate care.
