Jerry Allen Lane, age 81, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 6, 2025, after a long illness. He was a loving husband and father and was of the Baptist faith. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Luther Lane; brothers, Ray, Archie, Don, Claude and Paul Lane and daughter, Vicki Coffey. Jerry is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Anna Lane; son and daughter-in-law, Davy and Leslie Lane; grandchildren, Nolan Lane, Madilyn Lane; sisters, Libby Elliott and Carol McCarter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family and friends will meet by 12:15 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, at East Tennessee State Veterans’ Cemetery (Gov. John Sevier Hwy) for a 12:30 PM interment service, with Pastor Matt Caldwell officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.mynattfh.com.
