Jerry Eugene Parton

Jerry "Jerdy-Pie" Eugene Parton Jr., 48, of Knoxville passed away March 29, 2018. He was a member of Grove Heights Baptist Church and of Elks Lodge 160. He was a truck driver for J&S Cartage of Knoxville. Jerry was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a man full of joy and laughter, who enjoyed life with his family and friends. Preceded in death by brother Ricky Isbell; grandmothers Stella Parton and Gladys Clowers; close friend Gabby Rutherford; cousins Billy Stafford and Mike Brooks. Survived by loving wife Alicia Parton; children Tiffany Parton, Jerry Parton III, Madison Sexton, and Mason Sexton; mother Beulah Clowers; father Jerry Parton; brother Randy; sisters Donna, Sandy, Linda, Patricia, and Toni; grandchildren Riley Parton (7) and Trendon Walker (1); dear friends Mark Latham, Gary Whaley, Larry "Shorty" Edgin, and Steve Mayes. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00p.m. Monday April 2, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Mark Latham officiating.
