In loving memory of Jerry Dean Turner Sr., age 61, who went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 1, 2023. He was born December 5, 1961. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by beloved father John David Turner, brother David Jeff Turner, sister in law Janet Lewis, daughter Rebecca Kay Turner, special cousin Charlie Turner. He is survived by loving mother Opal Lee Turner, wife of 39 years Sandra Kay Turner, children Jerry (Stephanie) Turner Jr., Jeff (Christy) Turner, Misty (Jason) Houghtelling, grandchildren Jaylen, Destiny, Brandi, Addyson, Easton, Misty, Brittanie, Angel, Ernest, great-grandson Braxton Beason, sisters Kathy (Elvin) Helton, Connie (Mack) Cook, Minnie (Ricky) Johnson, Joyce (Larry) Taylor, special nephew who is like a son Jacob Taylor, special cousin who is like a brother Robert Turner Jr., special friends Bart Turner, Tony Toups, his special fur baby Noel, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. pallbearers Jeff, Shane, Rick jr, Macky, Joe, Billy. Services will be held at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on receiving of friends Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm chapel service to follow at 7:00pm. Interment Thursday, February 9, 2023 meeting at Mynatt Funeral Home in procession at 10:15am for an 11:00am burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at mynattfh.com.
