Jennifer Ruth Satterfield

Jennifer Ruth (Coomer) Satterfield, 70, passed away on the morning of May 29, 2024. She was born on August 12, 1953, to the late Charles Edward Coomer, Sr. and Katherine Ruth (King) Coomer.

Jennifer worked as a typesetter for many years. She was also a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Marvin “Lynn” Satterfield, her two sons, James “Jamie” Satterfield and David Satterfield, a brother, Charles “Chuck” Edward Coomer Jr (wife Margaret), a sister, Karen Suzanne Coomer McCarville (husband Matthew), and several nieces and nephews, whom she adored.

A memorial service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Christ United Methodist Church, 7535 Maynardville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938 at 6pm with Dr. Bruce Marston and Rev. Mark Kilbourne officiating. Friends may gather at the church starting at 5pm.
