Jeffrey Claude Walker II

Jeffrey Claude Walker age 33, of Tazewell, peacefully passed into the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 7:29 PM at his home with family by his side. Known by his friends as “Walker Dog,” he spent his free time fishing and hunting, and shared a deep connection with nature. He was a true country boy who loved his family and tending to his chickens. If he knew you, he called you a friend, and never hesitated to help anyone.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Raylan Myers-Walker; mother, Vivian Palmer Walker; father, Jeff Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey and Cole McNew; grandmother, Georgia Walker; his nieces and nephew, Tatum, Cali and Benjamin Jeffrey; and close cousins, David Webb and Katie Guenther. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Jearldine Palmer; grandfather Claude Walker; and aunt, Colleen “Barb” Webb.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, followed by a 2:00 PM funeral service officiated by Rev. Mark Large.
