Jearlene Huff, 86, passed away peacefully March 26, 2026, where she entered her eternal home in glory. Born in Marshall N.C. on January 14, 1940, to her late parents, Plato and Elizabeth Clark. She graduated from Marshall H.S. in 1958. After graduation, while completing Blanton’s Business School, she met her husband, Bob Huff. Jearlene became a follower of Christ at the age of 13. Continuing her faith journey after a move to Knoxville TN, she found her church community at Temple Baptist Church in Powell, TN. She was a faithful servant, steadfast in her faith, loving everyone around her. A joyful blessing to her family, friends and church community of 52 yrs. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, as she was the most devoted “mamaw” attending sporting events, making special birthday meals and loving them unconditionally. So much so, each grandchild would claim they were her favorite.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Huff, of 65 years; sister, Sharon Hannah; children and spouses Cindy/Mike Harvey, Martie/Mike Hamlin; grandchildren and spouses, Christa/Matt Hill, Christian/Allie Glenn, Austin/Mallory Harvey, Zayne Glenn, and Jake Glenn; great grandchildren, Addy Harvey, Skyler Hughes, Elleana Flehan, Wade Harvey and Zoey Glenn.
In addition to her parents, Jearlene is preceded in death by brothers, Derrill and Donald Clark, sister, Treasure Frisby, granddaughter, Summer Glenn, and grandson, Justin Harvey. Special acknowledgement, her bonus grandson, Cainan Darnell. The family will receive friends at Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Curtis Hudson Building, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a service immediately following, officiated by James Zenker. Burial, will be the same day at 3:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery on Tazewell Pk.
