Jean Margaret Potter

Jean Margaret Potter age 87 of East Knoxville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a member of Stadium Gap Baptist Church and retired from Jefferson County Health and Rehab as a CNA after 17 years.  Jean was an avid Elvis Pressley fan.  Preceded in death by parents,  Daisy and William Potter; son, David Kidd.  Survivors; son, Steve Kidd; daughter, Maria Lee; grandchildren, Matthew Cody, Tiffany Cody, Kristen Kidd and Zachary Kidd; great-grandchildren, Aspen Marie Cody, Ryder Tommy Cody and Alexandria Cody; brother, Jerry Major and sister, Irene Major of England; several nieces and nephews.  There will be a time of Celebration of Life from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel.  For those who wish, donations may be made to Mynatt Funeral Home to assist with expenses.  Condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
