Jason Nelson, age 48 of Knoxville, TN passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2025. Jason loved bowling and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by mother, Linda Nelson; Uncle, Chucky Vandergriff; grandparents, Bill and Betty Bailey. Survived by brothers, Kenneth and Greg Nelson; nephews, Chaz and Cody Nelson; and close family friend Charlene Samples and her son David Samples.
Friends and family may call at their convenience from 10:00am-1:00pm Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will meet at 2:45pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 for a 3:00pm graveside service.
