Janie Lynn Wilkerson

Janie Lynn Wilkerson, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away August 28, 2024. She was of the Baptist faith. Janie lived her time at Halls Elementary School as a cafeteria worker and her time at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Pre-School as a teacher. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Janie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Murray; brothers, Robert and Alex Murray; former husband, and friend, David Wilkerson, Sr. She is survived by daughter, Michelle (William) Mahan and son David Wilkerson (Jessica Taylor); grandchildren, Coby Johnson, Kinsey (Mathew) Phillips, Lola (Parker) Meighan, Barrett Stephens, Jase Wilkerson; step-granddaughter, Kimberly Mahan; great-granddaughter, Sutton Phillips.
