Janice C Moore

Janice Faye (Campbell) Moore, age 82, of Powell, TN, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

A Knoxville native, she was an alumnus of Central High School. She worked at DeRoyal Industries for twenty plus years where she made many lasting friendships.

She leaves behind her best friend, her high school sweetheart, whom she married 64 short years ago. Throughout their journey, they made many loving memories with their family and friends.

Janice was most proud of her family. She would light up when asked about her kids and grandkids, but truthfully, it was her great grandkids that brought her the most joy. Despite battling multiple heath issues over the years, Janice was a fighter to the very end. She is already missed so much by all of us.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian Campbell; sister, Carol Watkins; brother, Jake Campbell.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Moore III; daughter, Elizabeth Lliteras; son, Robert Moore IV; sister, Anna Elliott (Richard); grandchildren, Cheryl Lakins (Zachary), Taylor Moore, Savannah Moore and Robert Moore V; great grandchildren, Landon Lakins, Kent Lakins and Braelyn Noah.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service officiated by Rev. Cody Wright.

Pallbearers will be Robert Moore, IV, Robert Moore, V, Zachary Lakins, Andrew Wallace, Landon Lakins and Kent Lakins.
