James Turner Tilson

CW2, U.S. Army Retired, James Turner Tilson, age 82, of Johnson City, passed away October 11, 2015. He was a member of Loudon Outreach Ministries. 23 years veteran of the U.S. Army serving during Korea and Vietnam and he was a former Mason. Preceded in death by mother, Grace Tilson and son, James Michael Tilson. Survivors: wife, Evelyn Tilson. Daughters: Pam (John) Hall and Tammy Earnest. Grandchildren: Chad Hall, Christopher (Lauren) Hall and Gabe and Brody Earnest. Family & friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 1pm Wednesday for graveside service, Rev. Gerald Russell officiating Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City.
