Curtis Reed

James “Curtis” Reed, Age 54, of Rocky Top, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.   

Curtis was a loving husband, father, stepfather, cousin, and friend.  He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and camping but also enjoyed woodworking.  

Preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Reed, and by his cousin, Jeanie Braden.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of more than 15 years, Kim; his son, Justin Reed; daughters, Ashley (Matthew) Baker, Chloe Reed, Gracie Reed and Felisha Meadows; brother, Steven Reed; grandchildren, Mason Reed, Jayven Reed, Travis Reed, Olivia Reed, Arabella Reed, Jaslyn Reed, Bailey Reed, and Laklee Reed; nieces and nephews, Tifany Reed, Sawyer Reed and Shay Reed; special friends and cousins, Cookie and Sovella; special friend, Mark Williams; and best friend and cousin, Dennis Reed.

A memorial service honoring Curtis will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM; Grave Hill Missionary Baptist Church  (5900 Newriver Highway, Briceville, TN 37710.)  Reverend John Phillips, officiating.
