James Henry Strange, Jr.

James Henry Strange, age 75, of Knoxville, passed away April 29, 2017. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and retired after 40 plus years of service from Southern Railway. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Marie Strange. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Henderlight Strange; sisters, Frances Parsons and husband Bill, and Julia Strange; nieces and nephews and their families, Jack Parsons, and wife Kathleen, and Mark & Lisa Sumter; great nephew, Will Parsons, and great niece, Caroline Parsons, brother-in-law, Dean Sumter. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am, Tuesday at Ft.
