James Allen Grubbs

James A. Grubbs SR. (Jim), age 96, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with The Lord in the early hours of May 25, 2026. He was a U.S. Navy  and U.S. Army Reserve Veteran. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 582 in Powell. Jim was also a Shriner. He retired as a long haul truck driver having logged over 4 million accident-free miles. Jim’s hobby was flying.

He is preceded in death by parents Milton P. Grubbs and Ila Sue (Bradley) Grubbs, Son James A. Grubbs JR. and daughters Donna Grubbs and Janice Wilson.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years Rosemarie; Grandson Justin James Wilson and one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel  with services to follow. Officiated by Rev. Ron Mouser.  as well as Masonic Lodge 582 . Family and friends will then travel in procession to Bookwalter Church Cemetery for a 3:00 P.M. Interment. Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com.
