James Earl Goff

James “Jim” Earl Goff, 71, of Knoxville, passed away on July 6, 2023. He was born on April 30, 1952. Survived by his wife of 47 years; Wanda Humphries Goff, son; Matt Goff, Constant companion; his Pomeranian, Vernon (Lovingly named after Jim’s Dad) sister; Debbie Franklin, brother-in-law; Alan Humphries, sister in law; Kathy (Wendell) Kirkland, Betty (Possum) Lacey and Ruby Lay. Many extended family and a host of chosen family.

Waiting to join him in Heaven are parents; Vernon and Ellen Goff, siblings; Joey Goff and Pam Shoffner.

Family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, officiated by long time friend, Pastor Harry Atkins.
