James Edward Pryor

James E. Pryor, Sr., age 63, of North Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a Christian and of the Church of God. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Myrtle Pryor. Survivors include wife of 41 years, Jackie (Davis) Pryor; Daughter; Mary Pryor, son, James E. Pryor, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexandria, Anthony, Gabriel and Benjamin; sister, Mary Chamberlain; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00pm funeral service with Rev. Joseph Kennedy and Rev. Kenny Franklin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:45pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00pm graveside service.
