James Edward Davis, age 91, of Knoxville, TN passed away Tuesday, October7th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was a veteran for the U.S. Army and stationed in Okinawa. He was a former Master Mason for Lodge F&Am, and a Shriner. He was a former member of the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad when it was founded. He was the owner of Davis Texaco for 30+ years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Davis and Barbara R. Davis, and sister Mary Moore. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna Davis; sons, Roger (Margaret) and Mike Davis; granddaughter Sarah Bond (Nigel); great-grand daughter, Henlee Bond; sister-in-law, Judy Testerman; and several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a call of convenience Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 12pm – 5pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. Family and friends will meet Friday, October 10, 2025, at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 2:45pm for a 3:00pm graveside service.
