Jacqueline Kay Edmonds

Jacqueline (Jackie) Kay Edmonds, age 81, went to meet her heavenly father on October 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father and mother H.K. and Helen Weese, special aunts & uncles Jay & Louise Craft and Oscar & Dottie Phillips. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Richard A. Edmonds, and their children Richard Jr. (Kim), Kathy Cochran (Russell), and Connie Davis (Matt) as well as grandchildren Russ Cochran, Ryan Cochran, Jen Lovelace, Holli Ratliff, Izzy Cochran, many great-grandchildren and special friends Sam and Nancy Watts. She will also be missed by loving cousins Sherry, Louise, and Randy. Jackie was a Fulton High alumnus and was retired from the Knox County School system after 30 years. She was a dedicated church member who worked with youth and young married couples for many years and was a current member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at Black Oak Heights Baptist on October 4, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Dr. Todd Stinnett officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment.
