Jackie “Jack” Willard Childress, age 84 of Knoxville passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his children, Brandon Childress, Candy Childress, and Chris Childress; parents, Jackson Curtis Childress and Irene Burkhart Childress; brothers, Jimmy Childress and David Childress; sister, Alma Childress.
Survived by wife of 61 years, Charlotte Childress; son, Mark Westley Childress Sr.; grandchildren, Mark Westley Childress Jr., Jason Lee Wiesen, Hailey Brianne Childress; great grandchildren, Blakely Childress and Jacob Childress Lawson; brother Kenneth Childress
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a service to follow at 5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Rev. Eddie Childress to officiate. Interment will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Asbury Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mynattfh.com.
