Jack Verlin Hodges

Jack V. Hodges, age 78 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Powell, TN for 47 years. He retired from AT&T, and worked as a crossing guard at Ritta School.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Evelyn Hodges; and brother, Carl Hodges.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Rose Hodges; son, Greg Hodges; sister, Brenda Hodges Binder along with his brother-in-law, David Binder; grandchild, Josh Hodges; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. 

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be truly missed. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Sharon Baptist Church from 2:00-3:00PM with a memorial service to follow, Rev. Jim Robertson officiating.
