Jack L. Brady “Poppy”, age 87 of Knoxville, passed away December 28, 2023. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Jack retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a rural route carrier. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who enjoyed farming, gardening and singing. Preceded in death by parents R.L. and Ella Brady, brother Clifford Brady, sister Nancy Jo Everhart, nephews Jimmy Brady and David Liford. Survived by loving wife of 67 years, Ruth Irene Brady, daughter Vivian Webb (Danny), grandchildren Krissy Stephens (Adam), Heather Webb (Kent Donahue), Stephanie Keck (Daniel), Travis Brown (Alexis), great-grandchildren Landon Stephens, Kalee Stephens, Brady Stephens, Emma Keck, Lacey Keck, and Sara Keck, siblings Wanda Elkins, Wilma Hale, Peggy Liford, Jim Brady (Sally), Brenda Murray (Doug), and Jeanette Lynch, sister-in-law Margaret Noe, several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Doug Fielden officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and go in procession to Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
