Ira "Junior" Lumpkin

Reverend Ira “Junior” Lumpkin Jr., 79, of Knoxville passed away on November 6, 2023. Junior was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church and a charter member and Deacon of the former Bearden Gospel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents; Ira Sr. and Helen Lumpkin; first wife Pat (2009) and by sister; Jean Long. Survived by wife; Tina M. Lumpkin, children; Regina (Bill) Calwell, Katrina Lumpkin and significant other Ted Tracy, stepdaughters; Chastity (Wesley) McMillan and Latisha Godfrey, grandchildren; Billy, Bailey and Bradley Calwell, step grandchildren; Alyssa and Lia Godfrey, Madison and McKenzie McMillan, great grandson; William Henry Calwell, sisters; Margaret (Jim) Branum and Jewel Johnson. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 7:00pm. Officiated by Reverends Jim Branum and Jerry Crye. Family and friends will meet on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 12:45pm at Mount Olive Cemetery for a 1:00pm Graveside service.
