I.Q. Lansdell, age 91 1/2, of Powell passed away on September 29, 2021. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and was a Union Ironworker. He is preceded in death by beloved wife of sixty-five years Maude Branch LansdeII and grandson Austin Gill. He loved his family wholeheartedly, enjoyed travelling the world, was an avid reader, and a sharp card player. Served his country in the Korean War with rank of Staff Sergeant. He was proud to be an Ironworker since 4/1/1947 and until his death was the oldest living member of Ironworkers Local #384.
He is survived by loving son Kurt (Lisa) Lansdell, daughters; Kim (Ron) Waugh, Kathy (Mark) Baumann, and Kristye (David) Gill, sisters; Nadean Day and Pat Long, brother; Hoyt Lansdell, grandchildren; Leslie Atkins, Alexandra Wilhite, Abigail Pace, Zachary Gill, Noah Gill, Bryce Gill, Jordan Coleman, and Ella Lansdell, great-grandchildren; Bridget Atkins, Brandon Atkins, Brayden Atkins, Hermione Gill, Conrad Wilhite, and Ren Gill, and many other loved ones. Pallbearers; Bryce Gill, Brian Atkins, Brandon Atkins, David Gill, Mark Baumann, and Zachary Gill. Family and friends will meet 3:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel for a procession to Bells Campground Cemetery for the graveside service Saturday, October 2, 2021.
