Inez Rose

Inez Rose, 98 years old, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2026. She was born and raised in Corryton, Tennessee. She was a faithful member of Branville Baptist Church since July 3, 1938.
She was known for her gentle spirit and the joy she brought into every room she entered. Her faith was evident in the way she loved others.
Nothing mattered to her more than her family; she took great pride in being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her absence will be deeply felt by us all.
To us, you were the heart of our family. You loved us fiercely, prayed for us constantly, and gave more of yourself than you ever asked in return. Your love shaped who we are, and your presence made us feel safe and cherished. We are forever grateful for the life you lived and the love you gave so freely.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Rose; her father and mother, Clarence and Mossie Weaver; her brothers, Edward (Virginia) Weaver, Eugene (Bobbie) Weaver and Johnny Weaver; her sister, Thelma (Jim) Phillips; brother-in-Law, Tommy Archer, brother-in-law, Ed Rose; special sister-in-law, Aileen Rose and step-grandson, Calvin Jones.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Jerry Huffman; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Tony and Sheila Staley; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa (Bradlee) Bise and Braden (Tessa) Staley; her great-great-granddaughter, Charlotte Bise; her special sister, Gladys Archer; sister-in-law Minnie Weaver; step-grandchildren, Beth Jones, Becky (Wayne) Shreve, Jerry (Jacque) Huffman and Tina (Greg) Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, February 5, 2026 with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Rev. Steve Brasher and Rev. Mike Lee will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 pm Friday, February 6, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery for the 3 pm interment service. Condolences may be offered at www.mynattfh.com
